Campsites
Within G.M.W we have three campsites. Please find more
information below.

Bispham
Hall Scout Estate is a sixty acre activity centre situated
almost midway between Manchester and Liverpool. From the summit of
nearby Billinge Hill (1/2 mile away) there are magnificent views of
the Welsh and Cumbrian mountains, the Lancashire coast and the
former industrial heartland of the North West.
The site offers facilities suitable for groups of all ages, and
although intended primarily for Scouts, we are happy to welcome
Guides and other bona-fide youth organisations or schools. Camping
areas include large, grassy fields for district or county camps,
and smaller woodland clearings suitable for patrols. In addition
there are two modern accommodation facilities, both designed with
easy access for disabled people in mind.

Dunham Park is on National Trust land -
providing outdoor activities on Stamford Estate. Outdoor camping is
available from Easter to the end of October in 10 small sites
around a central activity field. These sites offer space for patrol
/ section / group camping or can be linked together for District
camps.

Lodge with 20 beds in bunks (two 8 bed rooms and two 2 bed rooms)
together with kitchen, large room for activities / dining and
associated single toilet and washbasin. Plates knives forks pots
and pans cater for 50.

money toys and souvenirs. Open after flag break, 2pm , 7pm or by
