SUMMARY:Practical Skills Workshop - Knife\, Axe and Saw
DESCRIPTION:This workshop gives volunteers the opportunity to learn how to confidently and safely teach young people skills with knives\, axes and saws. Make a gadget to take away and demonstrate your skills. \nThe course runs from 9.30am to 12.30pm. We will provide the resources and equipment required to complete this learning opportunity. \nPlease bring a packed lunch with you and a reusable hot drinks cup and water bottle. We will provide tea\, coffee and biscuits throughout the day and there is plenty of water on tap. \nThere are limited spaces available on this workshop. Please book your space now to avoid missing out. \nFor volunteers completing learning over both days during this weekend\, camping is available. We can provide you with an evening meal on the Saturday\, and breakfast and lunch on the Sunday if you are staying over. Please bring a packed lunch for the Saturday. If you would like accommodation/catering\, please contact us after you have booked your space on the workshop by emailing\, county.office@gmwscouts.org.uk. Please include in the email\, your full name and any dietary requirements.
